Stem cell research is extremely important for both current and future medical treatments.  With the use of stem cell therapy, the face of modern medicine is rapidly changing before our eyes.

Stem cell therapy can be used in the treatment of bone marrow transplants which are used in the treatment of leukemia, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, and muscle injuries.  There are also many other medical treatments that will benefit from the use of stem cells.

Despite all the advancements in stem cell therapy, many of the therapies are still considered “experimental.”  That means that it’s very important for researchers to be funded in their research of stem cells.  Stem cell research may just be the most important form of medical research of our time.
